School\, LLC 4600 N. Park Ave. Suite 111\, Chevy Chase\, Maryland (near
\n Friendship Heights Metro Redline). Public parking is available at C
ourtyard by Marriott. We highly recommend printing a map from our “dire

CLASS HOURS\nAND DAYS: Classes will meet on Saturday\, Oct. 6th and Sunday
\, Oct. 7th\, 2012 from 9 AM to approximately 9pm on each day.\n\nPRE-REQU
ISITE: Minimum age is 12\, basic swimming ability and good health are requ
ired.\n\nREGISTRATION: Is Required. You may reserve your space by makin
g a $295 payment per person*\, \n which
will be applied towards your course training fee. You may register online
. \n Class size is limited and weekend
courses usually fill up quickly.\nREQUIRED: \nEQUIPMENT: All necessary eq
uipment will be supplied for the course\, except for personal gear (mask\,
snorkel\, fins\, fin booties and weight belts)\, manual & DVD. However\,
do not purchase anything until you have attended an orientation session.
All personal gear must be SCUBA-rated and meet the approval of your instr
uctor. A very large selection of all skin diving/ SCUBA gear is availabl
e for purchase at discount prices\, at SPE Dive School. This service is O
NLY available to SPE students and their family members. For your convenie
nce\, the 1st three hours of every course are dedicated to fitting/educati
ng our students for the gear they need to purchase for the course\, as wel
l as for their future dives.\nENROLLMENT\nCOST: $295 per person. \n\nCERT
IFICATION: Students successfully completing all academics and water work w
ill be qualified to receive an international PADI\, SEI and/or CMAS Open W
ater certification\, which does not expire and needs no renewal. This cer
tification is valid worldwide for buying air\, renting dive gear and parti
cipating in dive expeditions.\nCARIBBEAN\nDIVE TRIPS: A dive trip to Grand
Cayman Island is offered monthly at the end of each course\, for those wh
o would like to complete their open water dives in the ultimate dive envir
onment. \n Participants may leave DC on
Friday and return as early as Sunday\, or stay as long as \n
they wish. Local quarry (seasonal) certification div
es are also available by appointment.\nADVANCED\nCERTIFICATIONS: Are also
offered during all Cayman Island trips\, for already certified or beginner
