March 20th \, 2010 from 9 AM on the first day\, 10 AM on the second and the third day to approximately 8 PM each day.\n\nPRE- REQUISITE: Minimum age is 12\, basic swimming ability required.\n\nPRE-REG ISTRATION: Is Required. You may guarantee a space by making a deposit o f $150 per person*. Your pre-registration fee will be applied towards you r course fee. You may pre-register online. Class size is limited and week end courses tend to fill quickly.\nREQUIRED: \nEQUIPMENT: All necessary e quipment will be supplied for the course except for personal gear (mask\, snorkel\, fins\, fin booties\, weights and weight belt). However\, do not purchase anything until you have been through the orientation. All perso nal gear must be SCUBA rated and meet the approval of your instructor. A very large selection of all skin diving/ SCUBA gear is available for purc hase at discount prices\, at SPE Dive School. This service is ONLY availa ble to SPE students and their family members. For your convenience\, the 1st 3 hours of every course are dedicated to fitting our students for the gear they need to purchase for the course as well as future dives.\nENROLL MENT\nCOST: $295 per person\, due at the first class meeting. \n\nCERTIFI CATION: Students successfully completing all lectures and water work will be qualified to receive an international PADI\, SEI and/or CMAS Open Water Certification\, which does not expire and needs no renewal. This certifi cation is valid worldwide for buying air\, renting dive gear and participa ting in group dive expeditions.\nCARIBBEAN\nDIVE TRIPS: A dive trip to Gra nd Cayman Island is offered monthly at the end of each course for those wh o would like to complete their open water dives in the ultimate dive envir onment.
